Memberships are available for students and experienced potters to use provided amenities outside of class times. This is a community studio whose mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment by exploring and learning all things clay together. Memberships are intended for hobbyists. If your goal is to create a larger volume of work with the intent to sell, additional packages are available upon request.

To be approved, members must show an understanding of pottery, must be respectful of the space and others, use the equipment/materials in a safe and correct manner, leave the studio cleaner than upon arrival, demonstrate how to properly glaze independently (approval required) and is required to take a minimum one class per year- while sharing the values of Coastal Mudworks. CM may ask a member to take additional classes to reach an acceptable level of understanding to independently work prior or during membership as necessary. Membership priority will go to current/past CM students.

Monthly Saturday morning gatherings will be held to meet-and-greet along with giving the studio a good ‘ol clean.

$78.00/month + $40 Materials Fee (25lbs clay, glaze, firing) as needed-available at checkout and separately linked

The Studio Offers:

-10 wheels (9 electric, 1 kick)
-Slab roller
-Large wedging table
-Shelf storage space
-Studio made glazes
-Regular kiln firings (Class work first, then members)
-Various molds/tools
-Multiple large work tables
-Holiday sales

By signing up for a studio membership the patron agrees to abide by the Coastal Mudworks mission and maintain the studio requirements.
